I want to identify and understand that "when we speak about fashion, we don't speak just about clothes, by fashion we mean the surface of the multiple process in society either in human condition, mentality and also culture". -Ewelina Dziewiela
"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street; fashion has to do with ideas; the way we live, what is happening". -Coco Chanel

DRESSEMBER DAY 1, 2014

Dressember is a collaborative movement leveraging fashion and creativity to restore dignity to all women.

Dressember creates an opportunity to advocate for the dignity of all women, worldwide. Participants wear dresses every day during the month of December to embrace the freedom that they're allowed, and on behalf of those who aren't free to live vibrant, autonomous lives. Funds raised during Dressember 2014 will go to support the work of International Justice Mission, a human rights organization that works to bring rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and violent oppression. Together, we can change our world.

This year, my friend Shilpi and I are teaming up in support of Dressember. Shilpi lives in San Francisco, and I live in Seattle. We will be posting photos wearing dresses in separate West Coast cities, and posting them together in solidarity to support the fight against human trafficking and sex slavery worldwide.

"2 friends... 62 creative outfits for a good cause"
